Despite having recently expressed a lack of enthusiasm for the LoSH, I have to admit that I am attracted to the various iterations of the mag because of the
talent attached to it at various times and because of its biiiig rep.
A cursory look at Mile High's backlist is confusing; there a numerous LoSH titles, as well as apparent spin-offs or relaunchs like the Legionaires, Legion Lost, Legion '89 etc.
If I wanted a relatively cheap introduction to the Legion, sampling the best creative teams from various eras, what would you suggest.
I would like to start with first issues if possible.
I was considering the following:
LoSH (1984): 1-10
LoSH (1989): 1-10 (I like Stuart Immonen.)
Legion '89: 1-10 (I like Barry Kitson.)
Legionaires: 1-10 (I like Chris Sprouse.)
Btw, what's the difference between LoSH and Legion and Legionaires.
And where does Legion Lost fit in.
I also like Steve Lightle's and Coipel's artwork.
Are there any interesting collections, besides the Archives (I'm not that interested).
