Modern Age
I hope I'm not violating standard with a written post, but I must comment on some of the posted choices: Bat Lash-Awesome... I have never read them and they are priced out of my range at the shops and local cons. Cinder & Ashe-I own these and pull them out ever so often. Still good stories. I still can't beleive Grell's Green Arrow hasn't been tried... I love 80's Thomas but Arak wasn't for me. Even tho I have since started Warlord & love it. maybe a second look? Jonah Hex the same way. If you haven't tried the new series by Palmiotti & Gray, PLEASE do. Best book I buy every month. Where is that second Showcase, anyway? 'Mazing Man-Rozakis gets a lot of ribbing for sub-par stories (FF, etc) but 'Mazing Man made this then 16 year old that couldn't get a date KNOW that there was still some kindness in the world. So Manhattan can keep the skyscrapers and Staten Island can take its ferry...We've got 'Mazing Man. "In this world, we all need a friend." Bravo choice...
