I am reading one of my books onto compact disc and it turns out I have used a word I do not know how to pronounce, nor does any resource or
person I have asked. Even if my guess at sounding it out is correct, it's nearly even money as to where the accent goes.
The word is "cetearyl." Here is the sentence it is in. "The
cetearyl alcohol in the conditioner she used reached its flashpoint."
I don't want to sound like an idiot by pronouncing it incorrectly, yet feel I can't leave it out as the adjective is crucial in denoting which type of
alcohol.
Any phonetic assistance would be appreciated.
