I was getting ready to put together an Annihilation binding project when I heard that there would be a follow-up "Conquest" starting this Summer, and running into early 2008. So I've put that on hold for now until next year, since I'd like to having all the Annihilation issues done together.
Anyway, regarding the first series, the series supposedly starts with Drax #1 - #4, but I think it should start with Thanos #7. I tried mapping out the series evenly in 3 volumes, but in order to do that I would need to include all 12 issues of Thanos. So the completist in me says to go with that, and so this is my own projected volumes. (Of course you may have your own projected binding...).
