Quote:I've heard that the series can't go monthly. Is that because of the prep time involved in each Archive, and that that time frame would just be undoable, or is there some chance that, in the future, the series could gear up to monthly status if sales remain high?

Quote:We see ads for the likes for Picture Stories From The Bible, Picture Stories From History, Picture Stories From American History, Picture Stories From Science etc. in the volumes so far.Now I have the two volumes of Picture Stories From The Bible issued by Scarf Press but what of the rest of the Picture Stories titles? Who own the rights to these? Is there any chance of them ever being reprinted - in the name of completeness if nothing else.

Quote:Michael, I just want you to know how much we all appreciate the fact that you're taking the time to post here and answer our questions and address our concerns! When you have a product to sell, communication with your customers is the best tool in your arsenal. DC and Dark Horse, and to a lesser extent Marvel, could learn a lot from you!
Quote:What I'd like to know is, what are your long term plans for the EC Archives line? Do you plan to eventually reprint everything, ie., pre-trend/new-trend/new-direction, or is the plan to re-print only the new-trend material and then decide on the rest based on sales? I'm not looking for something etched in stone, I just want an rough idea of what your long term plans are.

Quote:I have heard reports that say (I have to admit I haven't seen the EC archives myself yet) that the paper is too white for this kind of color and artwork. Any possibilites of changing to matte paper or better yet, an uncoated matte paper like the one used in the spirit archives? I think the Spirit paper would be the best for the EC stories. It retains somthing of that "old look" and the colors looks fabulous cause the paper absorbs part of it preventing it from looking too garish. Any changes about changing the paper you are using now or is it going to remain the white stock?
