A TV adaptation has been in pre-production for years now, but it looks like we're one step closer to it hitting the small screen. As the AV Club point out, the pilot is likely to be picked up for a couple of reasons: the showrunner, Carlton Cuse, worked behind the scenes for Lost, Bates Motel and The Strain; Hulu has produced a bunch of Hill's father's work before; and the rights were won in a competative bidding process, so its in their interest to get the show off the ground.
