I know he owns at least some of it because he was letting some go through a recent Kickstarter with that children's "Giants" book.

Please keep in mind that I'm not directly involved with BOOM, I'm just a guy who was in the right place at the right time to be able to facilitate the connection of some parties to help make this stuff as good as it can be.So, it's planned on being 4 volumes. BOOM is planning on reprinting the complete comics contents of the magazine, but at this time, there are no plans to reprint the articles. Apes expert Rich Handley is writing intros and afterwords for all the volumes. They are going to reprint the movie adaptions , the original stories as well as the Marvel UK materials that were a reworking of the War of the Worlds Marvel US comics from Amazing Adventures, so it's going to cover just about everything imaginable. I'm friends with artist Bob Larkin and I own an unpublished cover from the series for what would have been issue 30. I helped Bob sell 3 published covers to a collector in Australia and I was smart enough to do high rez scans of the art before sending them along. The same collector owns over half of the original covers to the run, so he'll be supplying scans of what he has so they should look better than ever. Because I've contributed scans to Marvel before, I had corresponded with Cory and had asked a few months back of they were planning on doing a reprint of the Apes material. He said probability not, but he hoped that who ever did, used the film from Marvel's archives. When Boom reached out to me about Bob's covers, I was able to connect them with Cory and instead of being reproduced from scans of the magazines, they are is being restored from Marvel's archives. I also supplied Boom with contacts for a couple others that I knew had originals, so hopefully that panned out for them as well.So that's what I know.

Looks great, can't wait to read that.droboogie mentioned covers...will all the covers be reprinted and at a size at which each cover fills a page of this reprint book? The timing is good on this, the new movie will still be showing in theaters when the book ships.
Just out of curiosity: when folks talk about the Marvel adaptations of the movies, I'm assuming those are different from the Power Records adaptations? Or not? Were the Power Records alternate adaptations? They came out the same year that the B/W mag debuted. If the PR weren't by Ploog I'd like to know who illustrated. If nothing else, the four covers seem to be new since I'm not finding any of those as covers of any of the actual comics series. It would be nice to get those four covers reprinted (and the interiors as well, but none of this is any deal-breaker of course).
