The pause between the second and third volumes gave me time to reflect and I made the decision to stop buying these.
It is not because I don't like them, I do. I have certainly enjoyed the first two volumes and I don't doubt that there is even better to come. Although unlike Marvel and to an extent DC I don't have a history with these comics as I didn't read them as they were being first printed.
It isn't even solely money, although I do need to cut the number of books that I am buying. My first priority, however, will always be Marvel from the 50's to the 80's. These are the comics that I grew up with and they will always have a special place in my heart.
The reason is space. I currently have five shelf units which are almost full and no room for further expansion. I have began to weed out books that I don't intent to keep, but it is a loosing battle. So to paraphrase someone form the past :
Lack of Space = No EC Archives.
