Marvel Team-Up presents a bit of a problem though because he's cover-featured on two issues (#84 and #85) but issue #83 contains the first part of the story, despite having no Shang-Chi in it. There's also What If #16. I would think that's a lock to be included, as it was written by Moench.

I can't wait to own all of this superb series in Omni form. You're welcome! It took me and my graphics assistant all of an hour or so to put this preview together. The real thanks should go to Cory and his crew who made them so sparkling – and that privilege takes many, many, many hours of painstaking work per page.

Issue #84 is full of exposition, not just of the previous two issues but of several other stories from other comics. In fact, the first five pages of that issue are pretty much nothing but exposition and flashbacks, making the story something of a convoluted mess. I think they'd be better served leaving these issues out, as the Shang Chi content is minimal and not very interesting. But I imagine completeists will want it, and the logic might also be that they won't ever get another chance to reprint them.

Because if it's just him, then there's no problems reprinting it ever in the future.

Irony and subtly are the first casualties in the eternal battle of wits between people divided by a common language. So read between the lines or you'll fall through the cracks...
