I've been on a buying spree lately and it got me to thinking. I know that if one is patient and persistent on eBay, that many modern books can be had pretty cheaply (about $1/issue or even cheaper). I'm wondering though, what determines a good price on an average per issue basis? I would imagine it depends on how old the books are, and what the specific titles are. What got me to thinking about all of this is that in the last couple of weeks, I bought Jonah Hex (1977) #11-92 for about $190, which factors out to about $2+ per issue, which I think is pretty good.
