MAN UP!! It's only once a week, and except for the first and last episodes, the others are quite short.
You want a "steady dose" -- you should try one of the marathon showings of all 15 chapters including the opening credits, the opening recaps of the previous week, and the "exciting" previews of the following week! This was well over four hours fun.
In my younger, hardier days, I sat through theatrical showings of the 1943 and 1949 Batman serials, and the Captain Video serial (at separate times, of course). It's quite an experience. The audience gets punchy and rowdy around Chapter 8, and it's free-wheeling from then on.….So one chapter a week will be a cakewalk in comparison. Suck it up, pal!

Wilson does a good job reclining in front of Linda - he's accentuating the nonchalance from those panels in Detective 27.

There's hardly anything of great note, if you're not a film afficianado. There was the usual fare with famous established actors, but 1943 doesn't appear to be a year that wowed with any treasured timeless classics.
