Golden Age
I'd originally typed "best ever" for the figures photo but I tempered my superlative when I realized how very many there have been (that 'Orb caption' banner was Fun 'n Games Activity Book quality ) So I'm glad Bubba said exactly that!

Great to see a new banner on the Crisis page, it looks great.
I think the DC banner might be from the same illo used for the original 30's to the 70's HC.
So on the CE page, I wonder if that's the complete set. GA instead of GL?? And he gets a bow but Cap no shield? (I guess Ollie does need the bow to even be included in this group.)
These would work perfectly for the Guess Who boardgame. "Does your person have something on their head?" Plus Aquaman makes a great bathtoy.
Don't remember seeing long pants on the Hulk that often...at least they're not bell-bottoms. I don't even have a guess who that is between Hulk and Batman, but would she be interested in a tabloid crossover of the Big Two?
What surprised me most is how DC was able to get W.C. Fields included in their take from the Fawcett settlement and they put him in a derby! An out-of-nowhere casting choice...

Well that is one sorry-looking Catwoman figure. Thanks Urban, I'm glad I asked, I never would've figured that out.
The Thing looks like he was neck-deep in an oil spill. Was that FF#2 when a Skrull was Thing on the splash in the water? So to speak
I hadn't remembered Isis wearing a mask.

My name is Oedi and I soar amidst the stars far from the planet of my birth. I guess this starship is the closest thing I've got to a home now, for I am a refugee and an outlaw. Vanth Dreadstar, Syzygy Darklock, Willow 327, Rainbow and Skeevo are my family. We are revolutionaries. Our goal? To bring an end to the 200 year old war between the Instrumentality and the Monarchy!

It would've been nice if looking through this assemblage we noticed a Mego Man-Thing trying to pass himself off like there was nothing wrong.

Thanks for those photos. Even Doc Ock would go with Plan B.

Because it would subconsciously instill in kids the ideal of being a studious and responsible Peter-type, respecting your parents and taking care of them when they're old...and bending their arms and legs to improve circulation.
