My name is Oedi and I soar amidst the stars far from the planet of my birth. I guess this starship is the closest thing I've got to a home now, for I am a refugee and an outlaw. Vanth Dreadstar, Syzygy Darklock, Willow 327, Rainbow and Skeevo are my family. We are revolutionaries. Our goal? To bring an end to the 200 year old war between the Instrumentality and the Monarchy!

I get every volume, even if I have the floppies. I'm spoiled by the upgraded printing relative to the original newsprint. Didn't 'Muu once say that he gets a copy of each volume, including variant and s&b, and that he does so for each printing?

Which means you were never a completist. Regarding whether it was appropriate to go with UXM at that point -- based on back-issue prices, UXM were certainly in higher demand than all but a few SA books.

You, THE KirbyFan4ever? Surely its Captain America Vol. 1, right? What about All-Winners, Daring Mystery, Mystic, Young Allies, Marvel Mystery, and Timely Rarities volumes? Surely you have all of those too? They have Kirby!!

I've picked up all the Silver and Bronze Age books so far. A couple of them I only picked up because I could get them at a greatly reduced price and probably wouldn't have bothered otherwise - X-Men volumes 7 and 8 and Inhumans volume 2 I'm looking at you!
Every book from that Era has now passed the imaginary line in the sand that was originally my preferred stopping point, though there are some titles that I probably won't pick due to lack of interest/connection to the character(s). That said, I'm surprised at how much I've enjoyed the Hulk MMW's, considering he's never been a favourite character of mine.
