Every time Marvel reprints pre-1962 material that is not already on the market, I buy it. I have Masterworks and microfiche. I have DVD-Roms of later material and would gladly buy Timely/Atlas stuff released in this format. While not my preference, I would also buy downloads or "memberships" to obtain downloads of pre-1962 comics. I like comic art that has been restored to Masterworks standards, but I also really like cover-to-cover reprints, ads and all.
I am not asking Marvel to invest huge amounts of money into restoration and physical materials, although if they do, my response is the same: here's my money. I would be perfectly willing to buy simple scans of old Marvel comics, which in many (most?) cases they already have in their possession. I can't think of a much simpler business model than: go to the archives, grab a previously-unreprinted comic, scan it, make it available to download. Virtually no upfront cost, plus access to my otherwise untapped money. My last Marvel purchase was the most recent Atlas STRANGE TALES Masterworks, and it will remain so until more unreprinted pre-1962 material is made available.
