I was putting off the X-Men books for my final bind because it’s such a headache to map. But I finally finished with everything else. I know there are many threads here devoted to the X-men. I have seen Corwin's very comprehensive map and saw the reading orders on uncannyxmen.net for the various crossovers. The problem is its becoming too convoluted, plus it would take me forever to collect the missing issues.
I only intend using Uncanny X-men and X-Men with necessary crossovers. Is it possible to bind X-Men and Uncanny separately? I am trying to bind Uncanny X-men from 200 through about (roughly) 350 and X-Men from 1-75. Not even sure if I want to include Annuals. At first I was wanted to bind X-Men straight 1-75 with only filling in the Ghost Rider crossover. Whereas I would put all all crossovers (X- Cutioners Song, Blood Ties, Phalanx Covenant, Fatal Attractions, Legion Quest, Onslaught etc) into Uncanny X-Men. The problem is those comics were so closely intertwined. Then when you get to Onslaught saga and Operation Zero Tolerance, there were many unnecessary ancillary issues, many were just filler to boost sale tying everything to the X-Men. Many of the MU issues are really unnecessary. Also should AoA be its own seperate book, or bind it into the uncanny volume? Does anyone perhaps have a simpler map?
