During the last year and a half DC has been releasing a steady stream of various Neil Gaiman Deluxe hardcovers.
Black Orchid
Midnight Days
Death
Books of Magic
Sandman Omnibus Vol. 1
Sandman Omnibus Vol. 2
And there's the Children's Crusade coming up next year.
So why is Sandman: Endless Nights going straight to paperback? Any particular reason for that? Is there a good chance this will get reprinted in hardcover in the next couple of years?
It's the only Neil Gaiman Sandman book I'm still missing (apart from Overture of course), but if I buy it now, it will be the only Neil Gaiman Sandman paperback in my collection, and I would much prefer to have it all in HC. Doesn't even have to be Deluxe, any reasonably priced HC will do (just not Absolute Sandman Vol. 5, that's way too expensive).
