Thinner paper for me. I don't know how some people manhandle their Omni, but I never had a problem flipping through the Michilinie/Layton/Romita Jr. Iron Man Omni. The heavier-stocked earlier Omni I own almost discourages me from casually looking at them, as they are absurdly cumbersome. Plus the extra weight of the paper could actually increase the damage if dropped. Remember when Iron Man threw a bunch of giant rolls of printer's paper and squashed some Dreadnoughts flat (in the IM Omni)? Same principle.I guess someone could do a test by dropping an old Omni and a new Omni out a 5-story window. Any takers?

Also prefer the thicker paper and its killing me that we didn't get all of Uncle Rog's ASM run as MPCs. It just feels wrong to sell off one of my favorite MPCs (Stern/JRJr ASM: Juggernaut) in order to "upgrade" to the omnibus. Even with the thinner paper I'll still be buying it though - I'll probably be more selective from now on and only buy omni of my favorite runs. Here's hoping that Marvel will return to the thicker paper at some point.
