I'm sure this has been answered somewhere in the past, but I wasn't able to find an answer when searching the forum. Does anyone have an opinion of Houchen's Smyth Sewn books compared to H&R's hand sewn? I love H&R's work and for the most part I don't mind the gutter loss, but I'm planning on binding J.H. Williams' Batwoman run and since it's primarily for the art, I want it to have as little gutter loss as possible.
I know with Smyth, I can't remove ads or add a ToC, can I do that with hand sewing? And is one stronger and more durable? Any tips you may have would be greatly appreciated!
