Ok folks the 2012 Masterworks contest is now complete with our new King of bling "Misrule" declared champ. I felt as though the contest went pretty well. I would like to initiate the same rules of the 2012 contest to the 2013 contest.
I know a lot of memebers here didnt really seem to care for the penalized points system that we used on the 2012 contest but at this point I felt it worked out pretty well. With all the doom and gloom threads populating this forum I now wonder if this system shouldnt be continued into the 2013 contest.
We all are not entirely sure how many Masterworks are going to be released next year due to the economic noose tightening on Marvel's publishing. Its going to be exceedingly difficult to deduse a release schedule or plan. Its also entirely possible that there will be a huge reduction in the masterworks program. 2012 was a tough year for the readership and we had to suffer through a plethora of changes to one of our favorite book lines.
So with that...
I vote for a continuance of last years rules to this years contest. All else for said idea say "Aye." Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated.
