I just received the Avengers Masterwork volume 12 from Amazon and wanted to share some thoughts.
First, Amazon sent it shrink wrapped on a larger piece of card board and boxed and it arrived in great shape. At 48% off, it was impossible to pass up.
Steve Engelhart tried his best to take a different approach on the intro since the material has been so heavily reprinted. He did add a few nuggets , but mostly it's four pages of fluff.
The repro is beautiful as usual, but I swear the paper is a bit light weight than previous volumes and a bit more "bendy".
I don't have the book released previous to this, so this might be something known already. The reproduction of the Foom material was nicely done, though.
For those of you that have the Avengers/Defender War in multiple editions, I can see why you would skip this one.
