I'll get the ball rolling here with some of the Green Lantern's Mail Chute letter columns corresponding to the recent volume 5 release for those who may have just picked it up.
Concerning GL 30, readers seemed more impressed with second story introducing Katma Tui, rather than the cover story which featured an alien race of pterodactyls:
A couple of readers found the cover featuring "Power Rings for Sale" too far-fetched, and one even complained that the villain was too ugly, eliciting an amusing retort from Julie:

Some interesting tidbits on GL 32 - one reader complaining about Sid Greene's treatment of GL's mask, while another feels that the concept of parallel earths had been overworked (in 1964 already! there's a fan ahead of his time, huh?):
The comments on GL 33 include the revelation that many of the characters in the second tale were modeled by Gil Kane after contemporary movie actors:
More to come...

Time to get on the stick and post some more of these.
It's unfortunate that this next column was cut short by a Lucky Charms ad. It contains 2 interesting letters praising the full-length Hector Hammond duel in #34, one by a Mike Flesher (could it be a misspelled Mike Fleisher?) and longtime correspondent Guy Lillian:
Mixed reviews were in order for GL 35, both for the stories and for the tweaking of GL's costume design:

Another truncated column, so only 3 letters, but some interesting bits nonetheless. One reader is intrigued with Dorine Clay, speculating she could give Carol Ferris a run for her money (in retropect, it is a shame that we had to wait another 18 years before she made another appearance!) while another shoots the story down because he's "opposed to aliens in comics" (!!!):
In the next column (thankfully back to normal size) the response to Evil Star was favorable, and Julie takes the opportunity to defend Hal's costume change, while citing similar changes made to the original GL's outfit:
Finally, in the response to GL 38, Julie seems disappointed that no one picked up on the fact that Tomar-Re recited Alan Scott's original oath in that issue. Meanwhile, Cary Bates chimes in on the cover design, which seems fitting, as he started offering up cover ideas to Mort Weisinger around this time:![]()
