I worked at a "reprographics" and had easy access to wide-format scanners, automatic scanners, etc., for years. Printing vast quantities of color pages, however, was pricey where I worked. I scanned my "Funeral for a Friend" poster and printed it as a double page fold out for my "Death & Return of Superman" bind, and I scanned and printed (in B/W) the entire "Newstime Special" for the same bind (since it was in magazine size format originally).
Other possible prints include Savage Tales Magazine's 'NAM stories for a possible 'NAM bind, and though generally small runs of B/W pages aren't so expensive, in the case of some ideas I've had for binds (for instance, LONG out of print work the creators have said they have NO desire to see in print again), I'm wondering if anyone is aware of either a cheap printery or whether or not places like Lulu or Cafe Press print from scanned PDF files of copyrighted material? Sorry if this has already been discussed.
