Art by Heck and Giacoia is generally OK, but there are some really odd panels that make me scratch my head. Somebody in the Bullpen doing some alterations? Something else? Look at this splash, and especially the ladies and their waists!! Jan looks very weird, and Wanda's body is all twisted (to better show her boobs?).There is something wonky with this panel. The bow looks very impressive, but also HUGE! But it really is not all bad. Look at this super-dynamic panel, for example. Wow!

I suspect this is Heck trying to "do Kirby", Black Widow in this panel look like she may have been toucherd up by another hand.Incidentally, it looks like Giacoia may have had some inking assistance by Joe Giella on this story.http://nick-caputo.blogspot.com/

No way would they be sent anywhere, even just to deliver a message to the Howlers......Art by Ayers and Tartaglione, very detailed planes."I'm no authority, but I feel compelled to ask... are you SURE? The reason I ask is, I read in an interview that Dick Ayers was initially very put-off by Jack Kirby's LACK of authenticity when it came to weapons. Dick said he would re-draw all of Jack's guns so they'd look right. Now, that tells me Dick was someone who cared very much for historical authenticity, especially in a war book. Since SGT. FURY had become Dick's book, I find it hard to imagine him drawing airplanes that weren't right for the period. I mean, he was there.
