There's a recent interview with DC Publisher Paul Levitz at San Diego in which he states "Ive had conversations this convention on things as diverse as ways to maybe reshape the Archives program in a world where theres so much great archive material available."
This suggests to me that the Archives are still considered a viable product line by DC. However, I can't help but wonder what this 'reshaping' could mean? From a business perspective, I think DC would be wise to let archives go out of print as the cost of maintaining their line in print must be enourmous. However, as a fan who is desperately trying to catch up, that would be very bad news for me.
Any other thoughts on what a 'reshaping' might look like?
