DC should just take a cue from Warner Brothers via their Archives: put these B/C-list titles up for digital sale then sub-contract it out to a POD distributor. Price it accordingly so they get a profit plus whatever royalties are needed to the creative teams.

Just off the the top of my head no Azrael 7-13, no JSA All Stars 13-18, no Spirit 8-17, no Titans 33-39 in digital so far Hopefully they will all arrive in due course Most heinously. there is no way of getting the Manhunter back-ups without buying all the relevant Streets of Gotham issues, even in digital Very odd, as Manhunter's longevity was very much based on trade sales and an introduction for the volume by Stana Katic (Castle) had been commissioned A good case for the first digital trade?

How well -did- the trades actually sell? I never got the impression that its longevity was due to trade sales, but that it was more of a critical darling that stayed around longer than its actual sales would have indicated.

I am grateful that we got what we did Kirby and Ditko wise. If the economy improves we could get a second wind, but I am not really counting on it. I think maybe 5 years ago a Gene Colan omni could have worked, but who knows. "We live in hope"
