Straight from the printer, the first copies have arrived of CRIME, the next volume in the Simon and Kirby Library, and they look terrific! Joe is thrilled. These are the best restorations we've had yet--Harry really outdid himself--and they may be some of the best restorations I've seen in a volume of this sort. (I'll be eager to hear what you think--you folks have seen a lot more of these books than just about anyone.)
A lot of these stories haven't seen print since the original comics came out in the 1940s and '50s. And in keeping with the theme of the book, we included a quote from Frederic Wertham on the back cover, from his testimony before Congress: "As long as the crime comic books industry exists in its present forms, there are no secure homes."
The book is out in October, and we'll have early copies in the Titan Books booth at New York ComicCon, where Joe will be on hand to sign them. Hope we see you there!
