The following map was prepared by GaryUK on the What If? pages for on this site:Marvel Masterworks Doctor Doom Volume 1 would reprint Fantastic Four #5, Fantastic Four Annual #2, Marvel Super-Heroes #20, Astonishing Tales #1 - #8, Sub-Mariner #47 - #49 (approx 241 pages)The key stories are Marvel Super-Heroes 20 and Astonishing Tales 1-8, as the others stories have been / will be collected in the Fantastic Four and Sub-Mariner lines respectively. If you're curious, you can find black-and-white reprints of those Doctor Doom tales in the Super Villain Team-Up Essential.Cory had previously discussed his plan concerning a Masterworks volume that would have contained Black Widow, Doctor Doom and the Watcher, but that plan was scrapped when the Black Widow: Sting Of The Widow MPC was released in September 2009. So we continue to wait in expectation of finally seeing colour reprints of those Doctor Doom stories.

Not having read the GN I don't know if that would work out?Triumph and Torment is an excellent work, but dramatically different in style and tone from the early 1970s Doctor Doom material. I don't really know if that would be the happiest marriage for a single collected edition. You'd likely be better off combining that initial material with Emperor Doom if you were going to stretch all the way into the late 1980s.

How long does Marvel like to separate their collected edition releases of the same material? Before you know it it'll be 3 years since that MPC has been released. I wonder if that's long enough and get the Black Widow stories reprinted into a Masterwork.
