My name is Oedi and I soar amidst the stars far from the planet of my birth. I guess this starship is the closest thing I've got to a home now, for I am a refugee and an outlaw. Vanth Dreadstar, Syzygy Darklock, Willow 327, Rainbow and Skeevo are my family. We are revolutionaries. Our goal? To bring an end to the 200 year old war between the Instrumentality and the Monarchy!

I saw it yesterday evening and quite enjoyed it. I took The WOMAN with me and she was delighted with both Hal Jordan and Sinestro. I was pleased with the quick appearance of Xax albeit it was all too brief. Carol Ferris' call code of Sapphire also made me smile. And the fellow playing Hector Hammond looked just the part initially.
Now the negatives. I didn't like Hector Hammond ending up so freaky looking and being killed. I also missed seeing Ch'p. If he was pictured it was all too briefly. I also wish that Arisia or another gorgeous female Lantern had made an appearance. And another ten or fifteen minutes of earthbound heroics by Green Lantern where he saves a few kittens and cars going over cliffs and foils a bank robbery would have been very nice.
Moreover, The WOMAN didn't think that Blake Lively was anything special as Carol Ferris. I'm in agreement for an additional reason. Blake is pretty enough but I don't think she has the figure to be Star Sapphire.
