I remember reading that there was some serious consideration of combing the final issues of Daring and USA Comics into one Masterworks volume. At first, I kind of shrugged when I heard that, but Daring Volume 3 is too important of a volume to get shoehorned into another title.
I am really hoping that we instead get...
Daring Mystery Volume 3 - reprinting Comedy Comics 9-10, (plus Vagabond, Stuporman and cover from Comedy Comics 11), plus Daring Comics #9-12. This is 290 pages of content plus intro and table of contents -- this can be done as a 296 page volume. And I really think this would be the perfect conclusion to such an important and fun Golden Age title.
Then the problem is USA Comics --
But would it really be too too terribly much to ask to have
USA Comics Volume 2 - reprinting USA Comics 5-9. That's 309 pages of content, with intro and toc... could be done at at 316 page volume. That's not bad at all.
And then it would probably be several years, but then close off the run with
USA Comics Volume 3 - reprinting USA Comics 10 - 17. That's a whopping 346 pages of content. But with a simple title page and TOC, you can easily get that into a 352 page volume. Same page count as Black Panther and Deathlok.
AND all the stories stay in their respective volumes, without any resulting shelf awkwardness. I don't see the problem here.
Also really hoping that Comedy Comics 9 & 10 are reprinted complete.
