The only official update from Diamond in their weekly list is Vertigo's new printing of the Little Endless Storybook HC slipping from 3/9 to 5/4, but there is a ton of unofficial new dates to report.
You may have noticed that the CURRENT NEWS page's "Running Late" list on the sidebar has shrunk considerably, and not in a Hank Pym kind of way. No, Diamond has new ship dates listed for a many of the books that were on that list. The difference is that while these dates are now listed as their expected dates, they have not been put on a notification or official update list. So here is a list of dates and the books now expected on those dates:
12/29 Boys Definitive Edition Vol. 2 Robertson Signed HC, King Aroo Vol. 2 HC
1/5 Astounding Wolf Man Vol. 4 TP
1/12 Complete Little Orphan Annie Vol. 6 HC, Crusades Vol. 2 Dei HC, Yesterday's Tomorrows Vol. 1 TP
1/19 Popeye Vol. 1 The Best Comic Book Stories By Bud Sagendorf HC
2/9 Vanguard Frazetta Archives Vol. 2 Complete White Indian HC
2/16 Buck Rogers In 25th Century Dailies Vol. 5 HC
3/23 Eerie Archives Vol. 6 HC, The Boys Definitive Edition Vol. 3 HC
3/30 Captain Easy Vol. 2 Soldier Of Fortune HC, Modesty Blaise Vol. 19 Double Agent TP, Best Of Dick Tracy Vol. 1 TP
4/6 Citizen Rex HC
6/29 Roy Crane's Buz Sawyer War in the Pacific Vol. 1 HC, Denis Kitchen Chipboard Sketchbook HC, Red Tide Chandler GN,
Michael Turner Soulfire Definitive Edition Vol. 1 TP, Krazy And Ignatz Sketchbook 1910-1913 HC, Lou Fine Reader Vol. 3 TP,
The Stan Lee Universe HC
There is a
very good chance that many of these just represent new place holder
dates or procedural moves, and the books could in fact be shipping
sooner.
In particular, that 6/29 date was the date given for the Steve Ditko Archives Vol. 2 HC
and it ended up shipping last week. So in other words,
these aren't necessarily reliable dates, but I'd rather list them with
the date Diamond now gives than let the books clog up the "Running Late"
list.
Besides, the dates for all of these companies, from Dark Horse, Image,
and IDW on down to the smaller companies are just estimates when they
are
first solicited.
