Well, my binding plans for this year- 2 books a month- went pretty much nowhere. Lots of prep, few actual binds.
Books added to the bound library in 2010 through Ebay:
Archer & Armstrong, Vol. 1 (great volume- have the material for Vol. 2 on hand)
Desolation Jones
Ignition City
JMS Thor Book I (haven't started mapping book II yet)
Timespirits
Wonder Woman Book 7 (or so- issues 70 - 9, the space pirate and Artemis storylines- I might sell this and rework it with my file issues down the line)
Books bound in 2010:
Aztec Ace
Miracleman books 1 & 2, with way cool slipcase
Live Sea Monkeys (collection of comic ads bound as a gift)
rebind of Eclipse Miracleman Vol. 1 HC for Ebay sale (it did OK).
So 8 - 10 books, all told, depending on whether you count MM as one book or two and whether the gift book counts. A far cry from the 24 + I had hoped for.
I have a new outlet for cheap perfect bound books, but they don't do mail order, only walk-in. I haven't tried them for comics yet. I used them for the Sea Monkeys project and the results were OK.
How'd everyone else do in this hectic year of binderies closing and new ones being found? I know your output shames mine, but what the hey, let's hear it!
