The indexes have been updated - we now have nearly 900 ads catalogued!
Title coverage is still stuck at 97%, with just these 4 titles unaccounted for:
Double Action Comics (1940)
It's Gametime (1955-56)
Robin Hood Tales (1957-58)
Windy & Willy (1969)
I think we have a fair shot at the last two, but the first two are very obscure and may not have been advertised at all.
Chronological coverage is now over 75%, and 6 years (all in the 60s) have been fully covered. If DC did at least one house ad per month, with the exception of
the odd contest now and then, you figure we could get this to over 90% eventually.
And there are surprisingly a lot of key issues out there that we haven't found ads for, besides the forlorn Showcase #4, such as
All-American #16 - GL's first appearance, or the first issues of Brave and the Bold, Tales of the Unexpected and House of
Secrets, or Flash #123, the first Earth-2 story.
So keep your eyes peeled, and happy hunting!

As for Double Action- even it's actual existence is hard to verify. I've only ever heard from one person who claimed to have a copy and I half
suspect he was lying. Contents are unknown, page length is unknown. Distribution method is unknown, Why it's number 2 instead of number 1 is unknown.

The indexes are now updated through the end of May.
2 milestones surpassed last month:
Over 1000 entries have now been catalogued from 1938-1969.
We have now exceeded 80% of monthly coverage from 1938-1969.

Indices are updated through September.
Chronological coverage from 1938-69 is now over 86%.
Also of note - we now have reached the point where every publication month from Nov 1957 to Nov 1970 (a 13-year span) has at least one entry. The Silver Age
is pretty well covered, although I think there are still some nuggets to be found.

hello everybody! longtime lurker here and, while browsing the DC House ads, found these two gems, from post 441. The index didn't say which romance comics these ads came from and I hope that someone here can let me know which exact issues they came from? Love this treaure trove of comics and cultural lore! keep up the fantastic work!
