The plan is to average two books per month. The list below may, infact will almost certainly, change as the year progresses, but it will give you an idea of my plans. As far as the FF map is concerned, I haven't even looked at it yet. In fact I am still considering whether to bind the trades or the original comics. Same goes for Superman. 2007 is still a bit away, but I'll get there.

Posts: 453 (12/14/05 11:30 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite	I have a few potentials sitting in a couple of short boxes, in various states of completion: Superman by Mark Millar - his Superman Adventures issues, with that Superman for the Animals giveaway thrown in. New Mutants Book Two - New X-Men 1-19, the New X-Men Yearbook Special, and the New X-Men: Hellions mini-series. District-X - The X-Men Unlimited issue which introduced the series, District X 1-14, and Mutopia 1-5. Justice League Book Three - Justice League Unlimited 1-?. This one depends on if the books lasts long enough to seem like it will produce enough issues to make a Book Four. If it gets canceled 6 issues after I bind a bunch of them, that would be unfortunate. Toxin - Venom v. Carnage 1-4, Toxin 1-6. I'm a sucker for symbiotes, but I think I'll wait to see if there is a third mini or further appearances in 2006. Marvel Comics - Robert Kirkman Book Two - Fantastic Four Foes, Marvel Zombies, his Ultimate X-Men run, plus misc. one-shots like Amazing Fantasy #15. Marvel Team-Up - MTU 1-24 of the Kirkman series once that finishes. Kinetic - 1-8, though it's hard to pay to have something bound I can get complete in tpb form. Aquaman: The Sub-Diego Saga - Aquaman 15-39. We'll see how well they wrap this up before I make a final decision. American Flagg Special was used to introduce the concept of Time2. From there, it went on to appear in two album size graphic novels. They revolved around New York City and Jazz. Very much reflecting Chaykin's own interests. The more I think about it, this is more of Time2 story with Flagg inserted into it for introductions' sakes. If you like Chaykin, you'll like these. The special looks like it will be easy to get on e-bay (there are 4 up at the moment for between $2 & $4. However, at a quick look I could only find the Time2 GN's at Mile High for about $45 each. Are the GN's comic book size and therefore OK to bind into the books?

It's such a shame that this series was never finished. Missing are the final two Corum books and the Count Brass books. Maybe one day.

I'll try to post later tonight if you're interested. While I have been please for the most part with Marvel's JB FF Visionaries volumes, some issue's quality have been a disappointment. Included are Superman 1985 vol. 2 (the misc mini-series of that year, including Crisis), and my first three Superboy volumes (1990-1992, 1994-1995, and 1996). I would have bound the first volume of Superman 1985, but I found 6 of the comics were water damaged (I guess I wasn't as descriminating when I got them over a decade ago) Next up will be two volumes of Steel, and the 1997 volume of Superboy.

Ireland during the first week in January, so he will be picking up the books from me, hence saving postage. I just have a lot of books I'd like to have bounded, but I'm also having fun organising the comics to make up my own hardback collections.

I am now spending more than I ever have on comics, by a long way. I'm lucky that I am earning good money these days, but even so I have had to cut back my personal spending on almost everything else like DVDs and other books (I wouldn't have time to read them anyway). On the other hand I don't smoke, drink (very much) or go out with wild women, so I guy needs a hobby. The next two years should, at the rate of two books a month, see a fair percentage of what I want bound on my shelves.
