I always thought that previous editions should have put them in the blank space where they belonged (they were shown in the letters page of the subsequent issue). I would defintely buy the book if they were finally merged with the story- the only reason they weren't was because the issue came out earlier than the rest of the "disappearing heroes" issues.

In the Ballad of BRB tpb, Walt drew some "design plaques" that replaced the indicia at the bottom of each splash page in issues 337 - 340. They featured stylized pics of Thor and BRB and runes/designs. Are those in the Omnibus, either as an extra or within those issues?

It's such a minor thing. And it's kind of quirky. gryphon wrote: So is it safe to say that this thor omnibus is the best omnibus so far? That's a given. I'll unload my signed copy of The Ballad of BRB if they are in the Omnibus.

Of course I am much MUCH more familiar with that material and have strong childhood ties to all those stories.I reserve judgement as of now.

Just curious...First printing glued, second printing sewn. BIG improvement on ASM and FF 1; not so big on UXM, which was pretty good even in its glued state.
