My Conan the Barbarian collection has remained unchanged for the last 20 years at # 17 to 177, but over the last week I have acquired, through e-bay, the first 16 issues. Before you think that I have spend a great deal of money 11 of the 16 issues were the Conan Classic reprints which I managed to win for less than $10. This will allow me to bind my favourite Barbarian as follows:
Conan the Barbarian Vol. 1 - 7 (# 1 - 175)
Conan the Barbarian Special (GS # 1 - 5, Annual # 1 - 12 & Special)
Savage Sword of Conan Vol. 1 - 10 (# 1 - 100)
Savage Sword Special (Marvel Comics Super Special # 2, 9, 21, 35, 38, Savage Sword of Conan Annual #1, Kull and the Barbarians # 1 3, Marvel Preview # 19, Bizarre Adventures # 26)
Savage Tales (Savage Tales # 1 11, Annual # 1)
I also have King Conan # 1 - 23 and all but a few of the Kull & Red Sonja comics.
Of-course there are more issues of Conan the Barbarian & Savage Sword of Conan the I don't have, but I think that I have enough to get started with.
