I'm considering picking up a run of World's Finest from around issue 255,-.
Many of them are Dollar Comics and look like they contain quite a bit bang for your buck.
Can anyone give me a rundown of the contents; characters, artists, writers, highlights, etc. etc.?
I'm especially interested in Don Newton and I believe he did a lot of work on Shazam.
And Mike Nasser seemed to be pretty ubiquitous around that period. I like his stuff too.
Of course, Mike Golden and Marshall Rogers are always a delight as well.
I've been browsing the covers on the Mile High site and Ed Hannigen certainly churned out a pile of his patented, distinctive cover designs. Beautiful stuff. Check them out. Maybe I'll post a pile later.
I really like DC's Dollar Comics from the 70s. They contained a lot of variety and pleasant surprises.
I've got most of the Detective Comic issues, some of the Adventure Comics and a few others.
Are there any other runs of Dollar Comics, which are particularly interesting?
I know the Creeper was featured somewhere.
I like the Creeper. Where was it and was it by Ditko?
Any other Ditko stuff?
I think he was pretty much past his prime by the time he did Starman in Adventure Comics or am I wrong?
