After thumbing through several issues, I just have to say that that particular series is an absolutely abysmal "sour grapes" series and a slap in the face to anyone who enjoyed the stories post October 1991.

Two words: "Hobgoblin Lives".
Not that there was anything wrong with it. I liked it much better than the version which made...well, you know who, The Hobgoblin.
icemanjeff79 wrote: The exception to this is of course Byrne and Busiek, but there's a difference: Bynre and Busiek are giving us new info on established tales
There's also another, more relevant difference: Claremont was a genuinely talented writer (in his prime).

Do whatever the hell you want, DC Newton. Who cares? Do you really think posting a picture of a troll bothers me in some way? You don't even know the definition of trolling. Nor do you have a good troll picture, quite frankly. That one looks like it was made in MSPaint. Put some effort into your google image-searching. I think "X-Men Jump" is an idiotic and derivative name. Most of the audience wouldn't understand what it means, and the other portion would laugh at it as a blatant ripoff of "Shonen Jump". I stand by that opinion. I'm sorry if, in the perpetual haze you live in, you mistook that for trolling. Stop derailing the thread and get back to (a) talking about X-Men Forever or (b) reacting to JW Marek's proposed fanfic.
