Usually, the more I think about a movie after I watch it in the cinemas, the more I gather my mental composure so to speak after the initial big-screen wow factor and not so much pick at/realize it's flaws but step back and weigh the good and the bad more equally, and usually I end up realizing it wasn't as great as I thought. This happened with Indiana Jones & the Crystal Skull (Leaving the theatre I thought "WOW that was so fun and great!" but the next day I was like "Ehh...it was okay"), X-Men 3("Yay, Angel!"; "Man, Angel sucked"), and a lot more.

My point is, I saw "Up", and, like I nearly always do when I watch a movie on the big screen, loved it.

But I'm still thinking about it, and I still am loving it. It's just spectacular. Phenomenal. Flippin' fantastic.

The one gripe I had is the

, but after about 30 seconds Pixar won me over on that too.

So, I think, by far it's Pixar's best, and I whole-heartedly recommend it. In fact, I'll even go so far as to say it's Disney's best movie. So as much as I liked the all-excellent Incredibles, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Jungle Book, Fantasia, Alice in Wonderland, Robin Hood, Sword in the Stone, Peter Pan, Aladdin, Snow White, Toy Story 2, Fantasia 2000, Holycrapitssohardtofindanevenmediocredisneymovie-- Up is the best.

And not only that, I think the pre-movie short, "Partly Cloudy" is the best Pixar short yet too, though I think I might change my mind later. I just have Up on the brain right now. For the Birds might still be the best, and Presto was pretty damn good. But Partly Cloudy just had something special going on for it. Full of surprises, couldn't stop smiling. I'll have to give this one a three-way tie for the moment.

Anyways, I whole-heartedly recommend Up to anyone, and I mean anyone.

Sure, I don't expect everyone's opinion to mirror my own, but I feel confident everyone will at least just like it.

Note: Stay after the credits! I was in a hurry so I missed it, but I hear there's material during/after the credits. Ah, but I don't care, I'm watching it again soon anyway, so I'll catch the extras then!
