I think that the paper quality for the b&w mags was even worse than the regular comics, and it aged to tan (or worse) much faster. True NM copies should have a fairly off-white color, not tan or darker, and there are probably very few copies in existence that meet that criterion. I didn't fully appreciate that until I lucked into a couple of issues that really were true NM and was amazed at what the paper was really supposed to look like.
