Twilight Children #2 was a good chapter, with some nice set up and a grim plot twist by end of the issue. No one can keep their eyes off Ela, and there's some good tension being built. Because of it's Vertigo imprint, I'm almost missing some of the gratuitous violence or nudity (thinking 100 Bullets)-- it's a weird mix of kid friendly art, and a good sci fi mystery with adult overtones. Fun to look at, though - it's always good to see new Darwyn Cooke artwork. I'm sad to think that this delays the finale for Parker, though.

Scooby was just as good as always, Southern Bastards finally delves into alternate artists territory: I hope the series doesn't suffer for it. I think Latour's artwork has been the continuing draw for this unlikeable story. Doc Shaner's Green Lantern story was a good stand alone chapter of the current "Screwing With Kirby" storyline that DC is presenting. Nice artwork, as always, Shaner! When is someone going to smarten up and give that fellow the same sort of deal that Chris Samnee has?

I'm skimming through the Wolf trade: it's been relegated to Subway reading for the next bit. Can't wait smile.gif

Jason, I always appreciate all ages comics goodness.  Have you read Boom! Studios' Peanuts comics yet?  I wanna try them out!
