I don't own an iPad or smart phone
-Me neither. I have a Tracfone flip phone and I made the conscious choice to get that over a smart phone. There are benefits to having a smart phone, but right now this is all I need. I rarely call or get calls, and I never text. Never have sent one in my life.

I'm not on Facebook
-I am, but I rarely use it.

I have never tweated
-Me neither.

I don't own a flat screen plasma TV
-Me neither. Both of my flat screens are LCD.

I don't own a Blu-Ray player
-This was true for me until a few months ago. Since I'm in film production, this was really a necessity.

I don't own a kindle...I still read books
-Ditto. Reading a screen isn't the same as a paper book. Never will be.

Half the crap in my car--Sirius radio, Sync, etc.--I don't use and don't miss
-Ditto, but just a few months ago I was driving a 1986 Buick Century. It was a downgrade from my previous car, a 1992 Chevy Lumina. I really missed having things like a reliable radio, AC, a properly working driver's side window, cruise control... I now drive a 2010 Toyota Venza. It's a luxury car by comparison.

I've never played Angry Birds
-Haven't done that either. Video games have never interested me.

I don't have an iPod
-Me neither. I don't listen to music, so it would largely be a waste. I do listen to old time radio, but I can use one of my voice recorders for that.

I don't own a Wii or Xbox...don't play video games at all (I read books)
-Ditto. I've never owned any video game system.

I don't have GPS
-Me neither. If I'm going out of town I get maps from AAA or print them out. Around town I use my internal GPS.

I don't have a wireless router...my 10 yr + old IBM laptop is still connected to the modem by cable
-I have one, but I got it only within the last few years when I started using a laptop in addition to my PC. The laptop has since gone kaput, but my new PC that I built is wireless.

I still use Explorer
-If you haven't already do yourself a favor, STOP!!! I used to swear by it, but after they stopped supporting XP, I switched to Firefox. Even though I'm using Windows 7 now, I've stayed with Firefox.

I have never used an App
-Me neither.

I just have basic cable (except when Game of Thrones is on)
-Ditto (except the Game of Thrones part). There are some channels I'd like in the expanded cable packages, but not enough to pay the extra money. I don't have a DVR either. (But that I would like to change that when I can afford to.) Right now basic cable and Netflix are plenty.

I still buy weekly floppy comics
-Me too, but the number of new comics is dwindling. My back issue collection and buying on the other hand remains VERY healthy.

I don't have a Netflix account...I go to theatres
-It's worth the money. If you still haven't, get yourself a wireless router, a Blu-Ray player (or other device) that supports Netflix, subscribe, and enjoy. There really is a lot on there. Sometimes I think I'm not getting my money's worth out of cable because I watch so much on Netflix.

I still write paper checks
-I pay online. I also have Lifelock to protect myself paying online. So far so good (knock on wood).

I still wear glasses even tho my optometrist's says I'm a perfect case for RK surgery
-Never needed glasses. I was lucky and got my father's eyesight. He didn't start wearing glasses until he was in his 50s, and then (and still now in his 60s) he only uses them to read.

I still strike pieces of flint together to cook my dinner and sleep in bearskins
-I use these wonderful devices called a stove, a microwave and occasionally a Nuwave oven to cook my dinner and I sleep on a mattress with sheets and a quilt. But hey, whatever floats your boat...

-Eric
