It's nice. The binding is perfect, as is to be expected from Marvel Omniboo these days. The paper is nice...not as thick as the older books, but not as thin as some of the newer ones. I don't think anybody will complain about ripples. It's very white, but not the least bit glossy. 805 pages of story, preceded by a one-page text "Previously..." feature.

For extras, it has a two-page story from The Mutant Report from the time of the early issues of this volume; a four-page Mutant Report interview with Marc Silvestri; an Evolutionary War house ad (?!); Simonson pin-up from Official Marvel Index to the X-Men #2; wrap-around Simonson cover art to ibid. #2; wrap-around Raskin-Choi cover art to ibid. #4; wrap-around Churchill-Vey cover art to X-Men: Earthfall (all the wrap-arounds printed as two-page spreads); X-Women costume designs by Arthur Adams from X-Men Archives Sketchbook (2 pages); a page containing a subscription ad by Mignola-Williamson, a checklist card by Simonson, and an unused New Mutants cover by Blevins; and seven pages of original art printed on two Omnibus pages.

The cover boards have the same art as the dust jacket, but the front and back have no copy or logos. The spine is identical.
