This is a case of testing customer fan base to see how much it will spend on a lesser quality product -- especially in the case of Original Sin (lesser in terms of page count and story quality when compared to Infinity).

If people buy, Marvel has no reason to change anything.

Protest emails are great but are only effective in conjunction w/ actual protest: that means not buying the product under protest.

 


My omnibus buying has gone from 1 per month to 1 per year in protest over the thin paper, but without a letter of protest I'm afraid this could be interpreted by some bean counter as a lack of interest in omniboo and not for what it is--a lack of interest in a cheaply made book.
