I'd prefer if they were there, but I can live with it. I gather that Dwayne McDuffie (a writer whose work I love) got canned because he was a little too public with editorial's refusal to let him use the big guns (probably an oversimplification, since it seems to be about his sharing of info in general). Adored his Justice League animated work, so looking forward to reading his issues. R.I.P. Dwayne! Also, thank you for the info re: Cry for Justice. I gather from some random internet posts (not a great source obviously) that it was an attempt to launch a second Justice League team that never happened. I might have misunderstood those posts though. Is it kind of like Justice League Elite with the previous JL volume?
