Without trying to sound maudlin, "when" is crucially important to some of us. I'll be 60 in a few months and I know I'm not the oldest on these boards. I can't assume that I have ten more years of Masterworks collecting; at some point I'm going to have to start selling them off. I don't want to die and leave my wife with 400 Masterworks and Archives to liquidate. But even with ten more years, a single volume per year does me no real good.

There's roughly 40 Golden Age volumes remaining, which would mean four per year to complete in a decade, assuming that I even live that long. Considering that we haven't seen a Golden Age volume in quite awhile, how likely do you think that we'll suddenly start seeing 4 (or more) per year?

When the Masterworks were in high gear a few short years ago, I thought that having the entire Timely superhero output in hardcover was doable. Now, sadly, it's just a pipe dream.

That's how I feel about DC Archives, anything we get is just a gift at this point, there will never be a completed main line.
As far as having a huge library of HCs, I feel the same, so I have as many digital files as possible, yes I would love to have everything
in print and the highest quality possible, but it is not realistic, many people like don't have the space to store that many volumes or more.
