X-Men #50 is a beautiful cover, but IMO it would lose much of it's impact in B&W.

As this will be a "modern art" sized book, any Kirby covers will be from 1968 onwards, so will not be from his peak period at Marvel.

I'm not a fan of Kane's G-S X-Men #1 cover either, but it is certainly "iconic", judging by how many times it has been "homaged" in the years since it first appeared...
