What I'd be, by FAR, most excited about would be to see an UNFLOPPED Blade of the Immortal, instead of the terrible cut-and-paste job it currently is.  I don't have anything against flopping, but Blade of the Immortal is not flopped: all the page layouts are chopped up and repasted.  This really messes with the visual flow, especially for action sequences.  I understand the reasons for not wanting to flip the panels (the swastika, for one), but now that the market is more amenable to unflipped stuff they should go that way.  It'd probably be a pain to do, though, so I doubt we'll see it.

Trust me, having to cut-and-paste the panels *in the first place* is the big pain. But this was done specifically at the creator's insistence, as is mentioned in every volume. The retouch/lettering team went above and beyond to ensure each page looked the absolute best it could be, under this guideline.

Oh, I know that this was what the creator wanted, and I *definitely* know that, of the three main options, it's by far the most work-intensive.  But it's also the *worst* from a reader's perspective.  I believe that there is no way the creator would have gone for it if it had started today and "unflopped" was even an option; at the time *nothing* was being released unflopped, so, for various reasons including particularly the not-swastika, cutting and pasting was deemed better than flopping.

But now that "unflopped" is an option, I bet the creator would prefer that over everything else.  But it would require relettering the entire series again, which is why I don't think it'll happen.
