Unrelated question ... but I'll ask it.

Does anyone know of a way to recreate/print an Archives dust jacket?

Over the years I misplaced/lost the dust jackets for LEGION OF SUPERHEROES V6 & V7 -- those where the first Archives I purchased and I did not want my wife to find out that I spent $50 on a 'comic book' -- the price being found only on the dust jacket ....

So now they sit naked on my bookshelf surrounded by their black-jacketed kin.  Any ideas, or approaches that would be feasible?

You need to get a good scan of the original, and it has to be done in sections since it so large, then reassembled and adjusted a bit with photoshop.
Then you need to find a printer willing to deal with copyrighted material, many will not, example Fedex, and capable of large prints,
since it is an oversized format, after the jacket is printed it has to be cut to size and laminated,
most printer shop also offer lamination.
BUT! It will not look identical to the real deal, depending on paper stock, printer, operator and the type of lamination used, results might vary.
Last and not the least, the cost of the above is probably as much as a discounted archive, not to mention all the time and travel needed,
I'll suggest  you get one on ebay or amazon or at a discount web site.

In fact Amazon has vol 6 and 7 used or new as low as $16.99 to $19.99
