>>I have Defenders 22 - 53 ready to go; is it generally agreed that Giant Size 5 (7/75) goes between 25 & 26, and that Annual 1 slots betwixt 40 & 41? Differing opinions? Anything I missed?<<
GS 5 and Annual 1 are in the right place. Too bad the Howard the Duck story from the Treasury Edition wasn't reprinted regular size to fit it in there too.
>>Similarly, i'm nowhere near ready to bind Conan, but I've had issues 118 - 155 taking up floor space for far too long, so off they go as well
Date-wise, it looks like Annuals 6 - 9 fit in, but they do belong in story-wise?<<
Annual 6 is in essence a Savage Sword story they put in the annual (I don't know if that's what they did, but it was a longer Conan-ization of an old Howard story which was the MO of a lot of SS stories of the time), so it can go where ever you want. Annual 7 was part 1 of the adaptation of Conan of the Isles, which was supposed to continue in later annuals but ended up all in a GN. Not sure about 8 & 9, but I don't think they ever tied into the main story. So you can either put them all at the end, or intersperse them.
