If Alan Moore is foregoing royalty payments to be made to the other creators involved, more power to him -- but I still think his request to remove his name from the work is kinda silly and pointless.
He has principles and wants to stick to them. He doesn't want his name on things he is ashamed of doing. Whats silly and pointless about that?
